A frozen wave of ice at the head of the Valley Blanc …panoramic views from the top of the slopes at Verbier…smooth powder drenched in sunshine on the slopes of St. Moritz…the awesome Matterhorn rising from the mist above Zermatt…

Wherever you visit in the Alps, from peak to crevasse to glacial valley - the views, the air, and the silence – they’re priceless, aren’t they?

Lally St. Maur is the best-kept secret in the Alps.

Lally St. Maur paints watercolours of Alpine snow scenes. In her paintings she exploits the unique medium of watercolour to recreate the astonishing views that diehard skiers know the world over.

She has also designed and produced a unique range of greetings cards based on her watercolour snow scenes, featuring her increasingly popular daredevil hero, “Father Christmas on Skis.”

Lally is a passionate skier. Early childhood in Germany meant that at the age of three Lally was taking her first steps on skis. She later became a certified ski instructor and has returned to the Alps every year since.
